Bursting onto the Tropical Rock scene in 2017 with the discovery of her infectious singles “Mojitos” and “I’m a Pirate,” Erica Sunshine Lee quickly cemented her place in the hearts of Parrotheads and beach lovers worldwide. A seasoned performer with a career spanning over 250+ shows annually since 2007, Lee's unique blend of Southern sass, infectious energy, and captivating storytelling has made her a key figure in the tropical rock genre.
As an adopted island girl who began touring in the Florida Keys in 2012, Erica found her second home in Key West, where her high-energy performances and feel-good music made her an instant favorite. Her ability to connect with fans—through her charm, humor, and authentic southern roots—has made her a staple in the tropical rock community. With 11 original albums under her belt, Erica Sunshine Lee is known for her ability to create songs that are not only catchy but also deeply personal, filled with themes of empowerment, resilience, and fun.
Her 8th album, Buried Treasure, brought fans catchy dance anthems like “I’m a Pirate” and “Mojitos,” alongside edgier tracks like “Summer Fling” and “Spring Break Up.” At the same time, songs like “Love at 100 Degrees” and “I Do” showcased a more romantic and vulnerable side of her artistry.
